Handmade gifts from Uzbekistan. My younger brother went there to play soccer, representing Australia, and these were the gifts my mum brought back. 
Thankfully, she has impeccable taste.

Each piece is so intricate and beautifully made. I realised something, each item (read: treasure) has some sort of imperfection, which ironically in this extremely industrialised world, seems perfect to me. 
Unique in its imperfection.

..I think a lot of that gets lost in today's world!

Also, combing through photo's on my computer I found a few random ones I thought I may as well post:
